How to choose your HANS® system?
HANS® is a basic piece of rider equipment, just like a helmet or fireproof suit.
First, you need to know your neck size, as well as the inclination of your seat, chosen according to your riding position.
Depending on the model, there are 5 inclinations to choose from:
– 10°: Forward position (rally..).
– 20°: Upright seating position (sedan, rally, GT…).
– 25°: For young drivers and women.
– 30°: Semi-recumbent sitting position (single-seaters and prototypes).
– 40°: Extended seating position (some single-seaters).
Width :
– Medium: Neckline between 38 and 45.5 cm (15 to 18 inches).
Each HANS® comes with black paddings, a sliding strap to allow rotation of the head when the helmet is attached to the HANS®, and a protective cover.
